The alternative uses are a bit inconsistent. For example, if you can use a lightsaber to slice and toast a bagel at the same time, wouldn't using one to cut a cake not work too well? I mean, with the high sugar content in cake, anything as hot as a lightsaber would leave a strail of black, carbonized suger in its wake.

naw, the trick is to use cake batter. that way it's all warm and moist, and you never have to worry about the rest of it getting old and stale.

Well Bill Hunt has his review up for Episode III. Interesting reading. Of all the reviews I have read so far, I know I can trust his judgement to at least have some objectivity. He does say Episode III is easily the best prequel (no surprise there) and that Hayden Christensen does a much better job in this film (one of my big worries).

For those who don't want to read the whole review, here is his revised grades for all six films:
The Phantom Menace: C
Attack of the Clones: C+
Revenge of the Sith: B+
A New Hope: A
The Empire Strikes Back: A+
Return of the Jedi: B-

I haven't been reading this thread because I don't want to hear all the talk going into it or see any spoilers...I just wanted to note that I got my tickets yesterday. 5/19 at 7:45pm!

It'll be more than worth it though.
Re: Bill Hunt, he's a self confessed OT purist, so him giving ROTS the "grade" that he did says much. I don't really care for his reviews, if you can even call them that, but it's good to hear he enjoyed the movie. I know I will.

i figure if Kevin Smith and Harry Knowles like it, i'll probably like it. my movie tastes are pretty similar to those guys, so i'm looking forward to it. between the spoilers and book, i know the plot already but it's still gonna be awesome to see it!
