Dude, those pics look like they belong in some kind of fancy catalog!

Nice going.

Please tell me you worked feverishly to tidy up the place before you snapped photos. . . it would make the rest of us slobs feel better. ;\)

Awesome camera, great pics and beautiful setup. I always liked those plasma wall entertainment centers. They frame the plasma so well. Monolithic!

Are you a home brewer too? How do you like your Macbook Pro hooked up to that TV? Mine sux as I have an RPTV so the gets cut off and the type can be hard to read. My next tv is going to be a flat panel.

I like your taste in beer. That's a gorgeous setup! Do the blinds/drapes do a good job of blocking glare when you watch?

Wow, thanks for all the warm comments! This setup is a dream come true for me, I'm glad to share it with you guys.

@St_PatGuy: I did clean up the mess before taking pictures. I hid a couple of remotes too. \:\)

@Capn_Pickard: The gear is nice and all but I must say that this particular piece of HT furniture is the best thing since sliced bread. For a long time I've been looking for something like that and I finally decided to bring my drawing to a cabinetmaker, to fit my needs in term of size, shelves, wood type, finish etc. The best part is that it costed me less than if I went with something similar from an AV furniture store here in Mtl. I don't even have to do complex wire management now, everything's hidden behind the wood wall, it's just great.

@vassillios: My friend brews his own "products", I'm interested in this stuff but I'm mostly the party host, he's the guru. ;\) We customized the fridge a bit so that it can store two kegs, the CO2 reservoir is hidden in the cabinet next to the fridge. I too had problems with my first HDTV with Mac/PCs connected through VGA or DVI, the main issue was overscan. I did a lot of research when it was time to change the den's TV as I wanted a model that works flawlessly on both digital and analog inputs with my computers @ 1080p. My answer was a Sony Bravia W3000, and now all my HDMI, VGA and Component inputs support my computers without any voodoo tweaks @ full 1080p. The MacBook Pro is hooked up via a HDMI-DVI cable to the TV, with a 3.5mm-2-toslink cable to the receiver for sound. And now with the upcoming 2.0 firmware for the iPod touch, I'll soon be able to control iTunes through wi-fi directly on my iPod, I can't wait to try out this new feature!

@pmbuko: It's a big room (22x20x9), and the wall is 90% windows. It's covered by a combination of light curtains and horizontal wood blinds, so it's not an issue. On the picture I wanted all the natural light I could get. Glare is not an issue, the matte coating of the LCD is great for that also.

That's pretty much a dream system there. What kind of TV stand / entertainment unit is that? I like how it saves you from drilling into a wall.
