I do like how the height of the speakers, the height of the lamps, and the height of the screen parallel the sloping toward the ceiling.

Wow! Nice. Cool "Light Sabers" near the screen! Interesting. Two months ago, I bought five Force FX lightsabers from Master Replicas to put on the left wall as props. Then, I thought, this was just from temporary insanity and returned them all.

I do like how the height of the speakers, the height of the lamps, and the height of the screen parallel the sloping toward the ceiling. Thanks. That was the intention. My tentative plan is to continue that taper by placing a horizontal board of about 12x60" containing three custom plaques above the screen.

John - would you mind posting some pics of the mounts you used to get the screen to hang straight down from the sloped wall? A side shot would be great as well if you can. Does the bottom of the screen hang free away from the wall behind it? I have a sloped wall in my room that drives me nuts and I've been talking about moving my screen up higher on the wall for a long time, but haven't done so because I haven't yet figured out how to mount the screen from the sloped section of the wall. Any advice on how you did it would be appreciated. (I've been talking about this for a year, so there's no terrible hurry. Whenever you have time would be great) Thanks, Jason

Hi Jason,
Yes, the screen hangs vertically from the sloped wall. I used two pivoting AVF Vector mounts (LCD005-13) that are bolted to the joists. We had some discussions about this by way of pm several months ago, and I was supposed to send you some pictures. My bad. I am sorry that I have not done this; I did take some pictures with our old point-and-shoot that were lousy at that that time and not worth sending. I have a better camera now and will take some pictures then send them to your yahoo email.

Wow! Beautiful room. I'll bet it sounds great. I particularly like how the subwoofers and the center channel anchor the bottom of the screen.
