Well all the Ws in, EP500 here this week

UNDER CONSTRUCTION: Ignore: marked up wall, holes in wall, LCD that needs leveled. Still have to do new lighting, cut opening on back wall, paint, carpet, new seating. I long way to go! I'm finishing up my rack and garage cabinets at the same time, so a long, long way to go!

Jeff

W22s,W150,W100, QS4s, EP500 (due this week!)

Thanks all!

Just need to do the sub crawl after the EP500 gets here (and move sub feed and power as needed, but not a lot of options in that room), and order the QS8's for the sides and move the QS4s to the rear wall now. And I think this room is speakered up!

I'll also probably incorporate the 10" JBL in the pics into the room, if the sub crawl, final design and layout allow. (Probably behind the couch)

Wow, it looks like you've put a lot into a small space! How far is the couch from the display?

Nice job.

Thanks, Couch (ears) is 7' from the display ..... remember the old maxell commercials! Nah soft or loud, I don't feel like i'm "too" close. I'm really happy I stepped up and got the W22s and W150, instead of the W2s and W100 recommended. Or it just felt better .. one of those two! \:\)

The picture makes it look like 4 or 5 feet. Is that a 52" display? When I was playing with my 52" rp I figured out that I could sit as close as 6', but 7' seemed to be ideal.

I havn't listened to the W series, but the M22 is a great speaker. Better than the M2s I use as centers.

52" Sansung 850 series? 7' seemed perf. I had a 56" rear projection DLP at about 10.5, but got the 52 moved to 7' (which yes seems perfect), to allow room behind the couch for an opening in the wall to the "great room" (hate that description) and also so I could have rears, with some separation from the listeners.

looks very nice, curious why you didn't place the left/right speakers further apart to get a better/wider soundstage. They should be at least as wide as you are sitting back...
