Jeffs Basement Theater
Well, I'm almost finished, but I've found using the Theater is much more fun than working on it. I've gotten rather lazy. Have to make time and get back to it.

Seriously, looks fun. How do you like your amp?
Edit: Just noticed you have an EP800 too, that is nice!

The Outlaw 7700 is my first amp. I liked the idea of having a lot power in reserve and the 7700 has plenty. I realize it's probably overkill but what the hey. The Outlaw amps were reasonably priced, kinda, so that's where I went. So far I'm very satisfied with it.

Yes, it's an Epson Model 8700UB. I got it as part of a package through Visual Apex, the package included a Universal ceiling mount, the 8700, a 106" 16/9 screen, HDMI cable and a couple of calibration disks.

Looks great! How did you do the ceiling? Were the tiles individual?

Thanks Amie! Yes, these are individual tiles (24"x24") from Ceilume. I wanted to retain access so went with a suspended ceiling in the Theater room. The tiles are only 0.015" (0.4mm) thick plastic so they are quite flexible, easy to work with. They looked great on their Website but when the order arrived and had an opportunity to look closer I did wonder how it would turn out. The completed ceiling has a great look to it. I am very satisfied with this choice. Great product, excellent service from Ceilume. Although, on the down side the EP 800 has caused, from time to time, some rattling in the ceiling. Jeff

Thanks. I'm quite proud. I copied and pasted the link to postimages.org all by myself.
