I've never heard the VP100 or the HSU subs. I know a lot of people around here love the VP100. I'm sure you've read the specs on both. The 100 has two woofers and one tweeter, and the 150 has 3 woofers and 2 tweeters. I like the 150 as the tweeters are on each end which helps give it a bigger sound stage. Another thing is that it is good to try to have the tweeters for you main speakers and center as close as possible to the same height. Are you planning on putting the center above or below on a stand? Maybe someone else will help out on advice, that is a fairly big room.

One possible concern I see is the location of the Qs8's. Normally you want the surrounds to be to the left/right of the listeners, and then if you have 7.1 the rears would be behind you. Also, you want a little distance from where your sitting to the speakers, it looks like they would be right above the couch?
