Mikey, I took a look at that post, and although I'm glad that Mr. Gunter is now able to enjoy his M22s so much after correcting the "cheap" crossover that Ian just tossed in, his comments appear absurd. There's nothing new or more complex(if anything they're simpler for amateur designers to work with)about series crossovers and speaker engineers would certainly unanimously adopt them if they made any significant improvement, much less the almost miraculous results reported in that post. You might find the brief analysis of series crossovers here of interest. Incidentally, I'm not the John k. or John K. or whatever there, but I agree with most of his analysis(if not with his spelling).

Mikey, I'd agree that the Acoustic Reality address he gave is no good, but in a different sense than you intended. Don't fall for these tales about the wondrous improvements that result when "quality"(i.e. high-priced)capacitors, etc. are substituted for what the engineers who designed the speaker used.
