Most decent brand receivers will drive Axiom speakers with no problem. However, there have been issues with the 4ohm M80ti's. You should be fine. Purchase a receiver that has the bells and whistles you like. I like my Denon 2805, but it does have a slight learning curve and is not as easy to operate than some other brands.

What is your budget? The axiom subs rock, especially the 500 or 600
