I see your point about the stereo cables. I was not very impressed by the appearance of the component cable available at Monoprice either. But their digital cables, both video (other than the component) and digital audio cables look very good for the price.

I second Wid's recommendation of Dayton cables. Currently, most of my cables are Daytons. They are excellent quality at a reasonable price. If a Monoprice cable doesn't impress you, you won't go wrong with Daytons.
