Well, no, but I've had this set for a few years now, and I'm still blown away by the image quality. I have an up-converting DVD player and a Dish Network HD DVR connected via DVI, and an XBox 360 connected via component, and all produce incredibly pristine and gorgeous images.

I spent a good bit of time with source material that I'm very familiar with playing on one of the 1080P HLR's when Tweeter got some in stock, and I honestly could detect only minor differences (and I hesitate to say improvement) in image quality compared to the 720P HLR's also in the store; grayscale performance was way better with the HLR, but overall the image seemed...almost softer in focus I guess is the best way of describing it. It's all about diminishing returns, and the price you're willing to pay for incremental improvement, in my opinion. Once 1080P devices start appearing, I'm sure the differences will become more apparent, of course.
