I picked up a couple Tripp Lite isobar ultra 6 outlet diagnostic surge supressors. One lite says line ok and one says line fault. I am sure those just make sure that the outlet wiring is correct and that the ground is hooked up.

The third says "Protection Present" - Does this check to make sure that the MOVs are still good? Does it work well?

Also, It says that there are isolated filter banks with 50dB, 75dB, and 100dB of protection. How does this work? Does it hurt anything? Should I plug my amps into the 100dB?
