Thomas, I had thought about that, but for me it's more of a convenience thing - less cables in what's already a rat's nest....plus, since I only own a few records - mostly Pearl Jam xmas singles, I rarely use it and I'm not overly concerned about having extra options. I just want something that I can plug in to once every blue moon.

Lorenzo, I can only assume the same thing. It's quite unfortunate because the 1015 is a great little, feature-rich receiver. Dirt cheap too. Can be had at $500 Cdn without too much effort.


OneVolFan, apologies for the hijack...let us know what you decided, IMO you can't go wrong with either of these receivers, especially considering how cheap the 2805s have become.
