It has been 2 weeks, since I have been on the Web. To remind everyone of where we were two weeks ago I ordered The Axiom Epic Master system with the center channel upgraded to the VP150.
The system arrived promptly only the day they arrived my mother had a heart attack and I had to go to Arizona for a week. She is now recovering nicely in a Nursing home and is driving the nurses crazy, so I know she is getting better, and will be returning to her home soon.
Well, once I got home I found the system my wife preferred there also. The Bose system my wife liked didn't stand a chance. With wires strung all over the place we listened to the Bose system First. Then after about one hour we turned on the Axioms driven by an HK 635. From the first note there was absolutely no comparison. The Axioms won.
It didn't take me long to pack up the Bose and ship it back.
Now the best part. We listened to these speakers for about week and in discussions with my wife we decided to upgrade the system to the Axiom Epic Grand Master System
and customize the speakers. The speakers in the front (the M22's VP150 and the EP350) will be Silver with charcol grey Grills to match the TV and the QS8's will be white so they blend in to match the walls.
So I called Axiom today they took my order. It will be 6 weeks till the new speakers get here, but instead of giving me an AR number for me to return the current speakers I am to keep them until the new speakers arrive. The Grand Masters will also be sent to me with Prepaid Returns for the Old system. Wow what a surprise. I get to use the current system we ordered till the new system arrives and I don't even have to pay to return the orginals.
Axiom really does aim to please its customers. Thankyou Axiom.
The only caveat
to this whole deal with my wife is I have to build all the electronics into the wall beside the TV. Even that will not be to hard as all I need to do is cut a hole that goes into an existing closet. Piece of cake.
