OK! I take it back. You have my sincere sympathies, Tom.

For whatever reason, I am always checking connections, or testing a cable, or adding or subtracting a new piece of equipment, all of which require rerunning or replacing cables.

As much as looking at that photo makes my skin shift with discomfort and embarrassment, I'd much rather have to endure that ugly mess (which, for the most part, is out of sight), than have to deal with cables that have been neatly run with Velcro, or plastic cable ties, quadrupling the amount of time it takes to add, subtract, or replace a cable.

I find the mess to be the lesser of two evils.
