I am not sure if the rest of the population would agree with me (ahem, JohnK) on this one, but I would suggest the M3v2 on the fact that the sub you own, I am assuming, is probably not the cleanest of subs.

If you pair it with the M2s, you would not get the cleanest bass possible, whereas the M3s have low end extention farther down than the M2s do, you could set the crossover at a lower frequency with your sub.

If you decided to forgo the sub for your 2 channel system, the M3s can hold their own without the sub.

Just my opinion.
