Axiom Home Page Forums General Discussion Technical Questions Proper wiring for AV Receiver / Amp

Now I am confused. If I do not connect the receiver to the (stand alone amp) using the preouts, how does the other amp send a signal to the speaker? Or is the other amp simply an amp and the signal would come from the receiver in a bi-amp set up as it shows here at the bottom of the page.
