I have a computer full of mp3s in the same cabinet as my receiver in the family room. I have a computer in the kitchen which can tell the other computer to play/stop/pause/next music. My receiver is always set to TV input, but the TV is not always on. I would like to press Play from the kitchen and have the music play in the house without walking into the family room to switch the receiver input.
Yes, this is somewhat lazy, but mixing two audio sources seems so easy it must be possible somehow...
