Just swapped the amp in my EP500v2 under warranty, but I note the amp doesn't have any model number markings (other than a hand-written "500" on the plastic case inside the sub) and the box the replacement arrived in doesn't mention v2 (just "EP500 Amplifier").
So, I was curious if the v2 differences are all in the case/speaker, or if the amp is different also? And if so, how would I tell (visually)?
I suspect that any difference (if any) in the amp is just in the firmware - so again, how would I confirm I have a v2?
I'll of course call Axiom when I get a moment. And, FWIW, the service has been great so far! My sub lives again! (something about having a newborn meant I didn't notice for a while that the sub had died, but I sure noticed it when it was ressurected!)
