I plan on using a 12v trigger on the axiom ep500 since the amp plate gets pretty warm unless the room AC is on. (room temp when AC is off is around 28-30 deg celcius)

i noticed that there was no switch to select "auto sense" or "12v trigger"

if i use a 12v trigger:
1) will the sub really turn off when the 12v signal is interrupted? (vis a vis: "auto mute" from the audioholics review)
2) if it does turn off, I assume my amp plate will be less warm, right? (or will it be exactly the same as the auto-on mode)
3) how many mAh is required for the 12v trigger to work (since I will be using an AC to 12v DC adapter)?
