Unless you just want to upgrade, your Onkyo should be good enough. Mine drives my M80s to any "loudness" that I care to listen to.

I bought my particular Onkyo model because it DID NOT have any HDMI inputs/ outputs. My strong opinion is that you let your audio equipment do audio things and you let your video equipment do video things.

My video players have multi audio channel (optical) outputs that I connect to the Onkyo.
