Just called up HK. The rep I spoke with said that this is somewhat of a gray area, no clearcut answers. 6ave has a physical store out in Joisey and is an authorized dealer, but the rep said he's not sure if they're an "authorized e-tailer" for HK, but will still honor the warranty if buying it online from 6ave.
