Speaker wire is only relevant to sound if you are using too small a gauge wire for the length of the run. The Axiom 12 gauge wire is very good wire(I have some too). You would notice a difference jumping from say.... 20 gauge wire and using the 12 gauge the Axiom wire. The bass would be improved the most and some say the highs are also noticeably improved.
When I recently replaced my 16 gauge zip cord(only 8ft run) with the axiom wire, I would swear the bass and lower mids had more presence to them, but it was tough to really tell, no A/B switching done, so it may have just been psychoacoustic (I wanted to hear a difference so I did), although I didn't believe it would make a difference in the first place. I thought the Axiom wire would be nicer to look at, and it's stamped with Axiom, so it has the
factor, which is the main reason I bought it.
