My friend Bert and I did a road trip to Dwight, Ontario on Saturday February 16 to pick up My Epic 60/500 in black (many, many thanks to Debbie Swinton for being there for us when the site is normally closed). We had a beautiful sunny day for our 5 hour (round trip) winter drive.

My first thrill happened when we unpacked them. They are beautiful! My friend couldn’t believe they weren’t real wood. These were a factory outlet purchase so we went looking for defects and couldn’t find any! We set them in place and began listening. We jumped from genre to genre, classical , jazz rock and I experienced goose bumps the entire time. First up was Joe Cocker’s Unchain My Heart in stereo, then O’ Brother Where Art Thou (the baptism scene) in 5.1, then John Klemmer’s Touch off vinyl, Wyclef Jean’s version of Wish You Were Here (we jumped out of our seats from the bass punch!) and we went on from there. So,so good!

This is the best value for dollar that I have ever experienced. I am now convinced that to buy an Axiom system is the most inexpensive way to get a reference quality system. The sound field is absolutely tangible. Whatever reality is in a recording is revealed with purity, clarity and brilliance and I haven’t finished dialing in the sub yet!

I am totally flabbergasted at how good my system is and I am a very happy guy.
