My suggestion is to look into the Anthem D2
...... and very quickly found that Denon seemed to be ... dull. The sound was somehow muted in tone. In the end the Anthem D2 delivered beyond my expectations in quality and features. Yes, you will need a seperate amp (I'm using the Axiom one) but the quality is incredible.

Hi Scott, This isn't meant to be at all argumentative at all, it's curiosity.
When you switched to the Anthem, you had to add a separate amp, the Axiom one...I'm Jealous. At this time did you try running the Denon through the Axiom amp as a processor to see if you had the same results?
