Well after buying my HGC M80's I had to find a way to keep my cats off of them. My cats don't have front claws so I don't need to worry about them sharpening their claws on the speakers. What I have to worry about is them jumping up on the speakers and clawing with their back feet in order to stop. My last speakers had scratches all over the top of them. Ever sense I got my new m80's I have not been able to figure how to keep my babies safe. So I left the boxes from my qs8's on top of the 80's to keep my cats off.
Today the a light went on...... So here is my Solution..... 3/4" mdf overhanging 1" with a 1/4" chamfer on the bottom edge painted black to match the drivers.
Has anyone else ever had this issue? If so how did you resolve it?(don't say get rid of the cats)

Looks like it's graduating from college
