Interesting concept, Charles. Like you, I've been interested in hearing the Linkwitz Lab Orion Speakers, but have come nowhere near the financial capability to try.
I guess on a smaller, more affordable scale I'd like to try a
Single Ended Triode Amplifier (one of the so-called flea powered amps) with a high efficiency speaker.
On the other end of the macho spectrum, I'd like to set up a home theater with multiple giant subs.
My other audio goal, which I've mentioned here before, is to try all sorts of different types of speakers and drivers--planars, ribbons, open baffles, transmission lines, full range, etc.
