Those developers must have had a lot of forsight!

Most of the homes in my neighborhood were built between 1900 and 1920. Many of them, including mine, still have gas lines running in the walls for gas lighting. Heck, a buddy's house still has connected gas lines in the walls, which means that every nail that he drives into the wall could potentially blow up his house. Fun!

No, my home was not even designed for electricity, let alone high-speed internet. ;\)
