JonHan old hand Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 74 Midlothian, Virginia	I believe that the optical out from your TV will only give you stereo not 5.1, when using HDMI into TV. Only when using OTA tuner in TV will opt out provide digital 5.1. M80s,VP150,EP500,QS8(4)
