Just to follow up, I ended up getting a GeForce 8400GS 256MB DDR2 DMS-59.

I was surprised at how simple it was to install this card, I had never even looked at the insides of a computer before and it took me all of 10 minutes for the installation.

Nothing earth shattering as far as picture improvement, but the results are what I had hoped for, there is a noticeable improvement in pictures, video and browsing, the colors are sharper and more defined. So to me it was a good investment.

A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.
