I was thinking of going with a Yamaha rx-v863 or rx-v1800 receiver or onkyo tx-sr806 receiver. All three are going for a decent price on amazon
speakers: axiom M22, vp100, qs8's.
Any chance someone has heard these receivers with these speakers and which do you think sounds better. Also any other suggestions is much appreciated
I've hooked this setup to three different AVR, two yamaha and one pio (vsx-1018). Both Yamaha are inferior to the 863 you listed. They all worked well, but it depends of your room size.
