OK...116 views and not a single response. Not very nice.

The reason is probably because very few people, if any, have actually heard these two speakers together.

I've heard the M22ti's, but not the M50ti. I'll only be able to tell you what I know, and have read.

First off, the M22ti is a bookshelf speaker. The M50ti is a tower. That in itself is a major difference.

Secondly, the M22ti is detail and clarity oriented. Clear, clear, clear...you'd be amazed.

The M50ti (from what I've read) is one of Axiom's more "laid back" speakers. The detail in the high's is less pronounced. It'll have a smoother, mellower presentation. That in turn will make it lose some of it's clarity, and detail.

It's a matter of taste. Most Axiom owners prefer the more detailed, clear sound of the M2i, M22ti, M60ti, and M80ti. The M3ti, M40ti, and M50ti, are generally considered Axioms more "mellow" speakers.

Hope this helped.
