FYI, posted on AVS Forum but no responses.

A few years back, I visited a customer that built a relatively cheap solution (~$60) that allowed you to send audio/video over AC lines in your house. It consisted of 1 transmitter and 1 receiver both with 2 RCA audio and 1 composite video. (Same concept as the RCA Wireless Modem, which I've used w/ success on my DirecTivo.) Granted the quality was not video/audiophile, but it was decent. I saw it running a VCR in one room and video was displayed on a TV in another room.

Now, for the life of me I can't remember the company. This was a small company, so it may not exist anymore. But I have to imagine there are other companies (probably Chinese or Taiwanese because of cost) that have done this.

Bear in mind that this was a consumer product, not the industrial version used for security cameras.

Anyone have ideas?

BTW, this is for a friend. I realize that this type of solution would NEVER do justice to my Axioms...
