I'm definately holding out. I almost "settled" and was looking at purchasing a 57" +/- CRT RPTV in the $1500-2000 range. But as you all know, they're HUGE. Hopefully that same money will get me a bigger screen, and smaller set. I also don't like buying a "HD" tv that can't display 1920x1080. HD is 1920x1080. It almost seems criminal that the makers are allowed to call things HD that aren't.
OK...it's settled. I'm holding out for 60+ inches of 1920x1080 resolution.
(and I want to pay no more than $2500) What are your predictions? How long before that's a reality. I'm guessing 2 years.
