Got the new Stereo installed today on my wife's car.
Got a pair of
Hertz ECX 165 speakers for the front, a pair of
Treo RSX speakers for the back, a
Pioneer 5100 CD Deck, a
Zapco i-450 Amplifier, and an
Image Dynamics 12" subwoofer.
Everything sounds pretty darn good. The amp is powering the front two 6.5" Hertz speakers and the sub in the trunk. Rear speakers are powered from the CD deck.
At loud level the Bass sounds very tight and smooth. At normal listen levels with the sub turned down a bit everything blends together really nicely. The front speakers are very detailed, but have some sibilance at higher volumes. Overall I am very pleased.
