Records and dvd audio are my preferred music playback media. Cd's and mp3's, not so much. \:\)

The Rega would be an excellent choice for a turntable. Mate it with a nice cartridge and set it up properly (there's a lot of info on this on the intertubes btw.) and you're good to go.

Vinyl is a labor of love, but one that pays off handsomely to those who indulge in it's archaic rituals.

16 bit cds sound blatantly inferior to well pressed vinyl played back on a decent system.
