Eric,
An easy way to simply correct this situation is to install on the wall a wooden bearing plate/block which will act as a shim and then screw the Axiom FMB or Sturdy Little Bracket to it. I does not take a thick shim to increase the tilt down angle, if needed.


I used 3/4" plastic stand-offs between the wall and the bracket on the top two screws. This creates a nice ~10deg angle. A bit hard to tell from the pic, except the vertical lines on the QS8's are not parallel to the other vertical lines in the room.
