Not sure if this will help, but just based on price, I'm guessing the M60ti will run circles around the JBL's.
Axiom is know as being one of
the bang-for-your-buck speaker companies. Their $800 ($760 from the outlet) M60's are bargains. I own them, and have put them up against numerous prestigious brands costing lots more, and the M60's have out performed them all.
I'm talking B&W 700 series towers costing $2000+.
I know cost doesn't always equally translate to quality, but considering that Axiom is already on the far end of the cost/quality ratio, it's a pretty safe bet that something that costs significantly less them them, isn't going to hold up.
Having said all of that...you really have to hear them for yourself to decide. Check
this thread for members in your area that are willing to audition theirs for you. If you don't see someone on the list, post a message requesting a demo.
