The yellow mini-jack input is a stereo analog input, so you'd need a stereo mini-plug to dual RCA left and right adapter. There is no digital input on the AudioByte amp.

Yes, you could use the Audiobyte amp/speakers/sub as a complete system in a room such as yours. We demo'd the earlier version of the system in a large suite at the Mirage some years ago and the system was impressive in what was a large living room in the suite.
