AFAIK, the Pioneer Elites work fine with the M80s, especially if you're not going to crank them like crazy. For comparison info, I run my M80s off an (old) Harman Kardon AVR 525 at 75wpc, and I usually listen to music at between 60-70 dB. I'd guess movies are peaking around 90dB. YMMV.

A Pio Elite is much more powerful than that, so you should be just fine.
