Here is what I used for the back of my theater by the equipment:
8.2 Speaker Wall Plate $15.30 Painted black of course. I also removed the "8-channel" (rear center) and replaced the posts with other connections I wanted such as a "mono" headphone style connection for my IR Repeater line that went to the front of my room.

I used this for my front three speakers.
3 Speaker Binding Post Wall Plate - $4.48 also painted black. I put this into a 2 gang box with my sub 1 and sub 2 connections and the matching connection for the IR Repeater.

My rear and side surrounds don't have plates. They are just small holes in the wall to reduce the number of areas for sound to leak out through my sound dampening (nothing it really soundproof)...

Dak - room is mainly done and has been going through the paces very nicely. Still need to do baseboard trim (actually, the whole basement needs it), the crown moulding and rope lights need to go up, the movie storage shelves need to go in the back right area of that photo, and the equipment rack (using a temporary tack for now) needs to go into the area on the left of that photo. Then I need to still put up the fiber optic star ceiling panel (it was taken from my old theater - v3.0), and some acoustical panels for the walls not old for sound, but also to add a little more to the somewhat plain room.

Go check out my build thread here, or click the link in my sig. My web site for the theaters is really lame, but it gets it out there somewhere. Colors for the first 2 pictures on the web site are off a lot. I mean, the QS8s look brown and they are cherry, the walls are a richer shade than that, the seats in the "screen view" look almost a shade of purple, and the ceiling doesn't look so much like mud. Someday I will mess with some new photos a bit to get the colors better. Or maybe a 30 second video since the camcorder actually would capture the space a little better.
