I think you're golden. The in-cabinet speakers should perform significantly better than inwall/onwall counterparts because the enclosure size is not compromised. I would totally do the in-cabinet versions.

Brent is the expert and he says you're good. I don't think the M80 is going to make a big difference, unless you're going to always wonder "what if".

I don't think that the M80 mitigates the need for a second sub. You need to push a lot of sub-40Hz content for movies.

Hopefully, the smart people will chime in, too.
