Hiya. Do a search on receivers here. You'll find the Denon 1804, 2803, 3803 and 3805. The Harman Kardons (various models). Also the Yamaha 1400 and 2400. They all work very well. At $1000, prety much anything you pick will work well.
The 3805 is an excellent choice. The 3803 is also a compelling choice; especially if you can find a good deal as they clear them out to make room for the 3805. (I have the 3803, so my advice may be a bit tainted
).
Take the time to wander through the board. Good advice, nice folks and more than a little entertainment value.
