I guess I like to think that since I'm personally not an electrical engineer, not an audio engineer, don't have access to proper measuring equipment and I don't have access to an anechoic chamber like Axiom had 'all of the above' when they designed the speaker....
I don't feel that I can add much to the design of a speaker that they have already spent a lot of time tweaking with all that gear and expertise.
I would suggest that, instead, you turn to tweaking the next biggest effect for your audio fidelity... your room. There may be a lot of things that are changeable in your listening room to experiment with and make improvements.
I also understand human's built in desire to 'tinker' though. So have at em, if that makes you happy.
