Cause Atmos is the coded sound track on some of the newer BR disks. There is no other choice, unless you speak a different language than English. Something to do with new anti-copy write crap the studios are using now.

So far, two disks that come to mind with these drop outs are Expendables 3 and John Wick.

^ You'll need to use LPCM (or Analog) output to play that disc. It has been authored with scads of bogus playlists to confuse copying software, i.e., complex seamless branching. And a TrueHD 7.1 (Atmosified) track.

"This is a limitation of the player's hardware due to changes in the encoding standard for Dolby Digital TrueHD soundtracks that use Seamless Branching. This is not something that we will be able to fix through a future firmware release."
