Celebrated mildly on the weekend cause Monday's suck. Plus they double ruined it by holding the provincial election today.
I did enjoy a great steak & beer barbecue with friends.
I also took the kayak out for the first time this year and had fun navigating around the ice cakes still in the bay. Had a great conversation with a curious harbor seal. I think he was impressed with my seal launch into the water because my shore is still basically a glacier. Freakin NUTS! Mid-May last year, the water was at swimmable temperatures. Well, still cool but without hypothermia inducing ice burgs floating around.
The bad news... Lobster season was delayed because of the ice. A few more days before steak and beer becomes lobster and beer, but it's really hard to go wrong there.
Also, I'm still owed an Avengers viewing. Good Times!
