There has been a vast movement in peoples tastes to 1% or skimmed milk that the amount of milk solids that needs to get sold is causing a problem.
Actually very few people drink skim compared to other milk products and it hasn't had a change in trend for 20 years. The highest per capita consumption in order from most to least is:
