Here's the first wall of a basement room to be used for music playing and editing. This wall is solid concrete behind the studs. The other 3 walls will get Roxul Safe n Sound, and the ceiling will get 2 layers - one against the underside of the floor, the other on top of the suspended ceiling with a nice air gap in-between.
