Personally I think your current amp delivers plenty of power for that setup unless you are in a very big room.

The advantage of going with a newer receiver is you get all the new goodies like Atmos, network/bluetooth connectivity, 4K video support ...

I guess it depends on where you are going with your home theater.

On the other hand, you can go with an Axiom ADA1000 5 channel for $1,000 USD and get true 125 w all channels driven, which is gobs of power and turn your system up to 11 (earplugs sold separately).
