Hmm, it's tough getting an embeddable URL from the Google site.

Anyways, good news is that it's probably only the small opening making a difference. First thought would be to put a really absorbent panel in the same spot on the opposite wall, which would balance it out to some extent.

Main concerns I see is that the speakers and the seating positions don't align, unless you have a chair that you put in the middle of the room when listening seriously ? I guess you could just hijack a dining room chair...

The family room would make it easier to align speakers & seating but would be even more unbalanced, something like the room I am wrestling with now.
