Figured I’d post this question here in the quasi Bryston Thread.

The Mini Ais a three way with a 1” tweet a 3 “ mid and an 8” woofer. Rated at 8 ohms.

Then a Mini T is 1” tweet , 5.25 “ mid 8” woofer at 4 ohms.

The m5hp is closer in spec to mini t other than the 8” woofer. With the 6.5 HP driver of m5 why does it co e out at 8 ohms not 4? Or are the m5 hp 6.5 woofer individually 8 ohm and then used in parallel they are 4 ohms? But that doesn’t explain m60 hp at 6 ohms.

What am I missing here? Bryston woofers have more or larger voice coils in the 8” at 4 ohms?
